APH - Kingdom Come PT 4Prussia stared at the dead leaves matted to the ground that was scattered with signs of rebirth. Yet, even with a pattern of dull chestnut and auburn leaves and blossom petals of dusty mauve, it was the same dirt road from a year ago.
Perhaps, he mused to himself, By this time next year Holy Rome will be standing with me, walking this path.
The time separated from Holy Rome was different. And for it to be a year, give or take some, was very different in the albino’s point of view.
There was no Holy Rome slamming a pillow down on his face repeatedly in annoyance for not waking up in the morning when he was supposed to.
He opened his crimson red eyes to be greeted with another facefull of his brother’s pillow. It did wake him up, which must have been the reason for the attack. Another blow had him reaching for his brother’s wrists to stop the one-sided pillow war.

Her CatalystAs she walks through the maelstrom, the words trace upon the tips of her fingers and press into the stone. Every brick, every crack in the concrete, every crossed and angular stroke in reds and blacks and oranges. The drips of the gasoline pool around the base of her boots, slosh as she steps over the burst pipes and the rubble.
So much rubble. So little outcry. The silence of the city grates on her eardrums and the mantras she'd been forced to memorize. The Seers demanded they observe thirteen years of recitation before they attempt to weave their first World together.
But who other than the Seers can claim the incantations that knot the skeins they twist and pull on like reins hold fast? When have any of the Sisters recorded the visions they traced upon space-time and recited them, left them open for critique and discussion and debate?
